	Our specialty is injection-molded optical systems. Injection-molding offers the ultimate diversity:
	optical functions, including any mix of sphericals, aspherics, toroids, refractives, diffractives, reflectives (coated & TIRs), and microstructures; fewer elements than glass spherical; lighter, smaller; integral mechanical features for precise, repeatable registration; glass / plastic hybrids with precision mounting ; applicability from moderate to high volume with low direct costs and reduced labor content; applicability to small volumes when no other solution is practical.
	Compared to glass, polymers generally have greater thermal coefficients, less abrasion resistance, more birefringence, and less surface accuracy. Special techniques and care must be applied to their design, tooling and production. We are here to help.
