  • Developed and manufactured stereo microscope ( SAM‑II ) for microwave IC alignment ( Licensed technology to Giga, France)

  • Developed laser barcode scanning technology for beverage bottle and can recycling

  • Developed and manufactured omnidirectional tabletop barcode scanners ( OmniScan ) for point-of-sale markets.  Innovative designs were first to incorporate all-plastic optics, visible laser diodes and digital signal processing technologies

  • Corporate partnered with Sensormatic and DataLogic SpA for investment and domestic and international marketing leverage. OEM agreements with ICL DataChecker and Toyota Tsusho Denso.

  • Corporate labs; birthplace of many operating divisions; strongly disciplined broad-based training ground

  • Developed video, CRT deflection and servo circuitry for Air Force photogrammetric systems

  • Responsible for video processing subsystem for first Earth Resources Technology Satellite (ERTS) ground data processing station

  • Developed patented laser scanning technology for lumber flaw detection used at American Forrest Products mills

  • Participated in Bendix proposal effort for NCR barcode scanner RFQ
